3.43.30 Radio

Yep its that time, time to post expiriences with the new radio. So this radio seems to be as stable as the 3.35 titan radio and illimated several of the issues that I was having with the 3.37 radio. The 3.37 radio would cause problems answering a call or sometimes no audio without a reboot!

I've ran the Kitchen on all the radios, power use seems to be very good today 50% after a busy day much better then 3.37. GPS looks just as good as some the other radios... What are you guys seeing?

Will this radio work on BELL ??

I looked but can't find where to find the files... Is it only for Sprint users with the 3.03 update ?

I tried flashing the new radio last night and it did not work for me - went through all the steps, soft reset before sprint customizations and when I looked at device info I still had 3.37.

3.37 is working fie for me, I may try again at another time -but did not work for me this time for some reason.

I must agree, this is a very stable radio. The GPS locks on fairly quickly and is very reliable. I have not had any issue with it losing a lock yet. I have had no issues with this radio yet. So far I am very impressed.

As a Verizon xv6900 user running 3.02 rom I haven't noticed much of a difference over 3.37 but I just loaded it yesterday.

It works fine... battery life seems to be better for me. Use the official Sprint 3.03 ROM and ensure you SKIP the customizations. Then I used GhettoFreeRyder's Bell Hybrid Rom (you need to be unlocked).

It's been a great combo so far!

i tried it on Alltel and couldn't get a gps lock to save my life. tried various configs even going so far as to screw up and let customization run. Won't do that again. went back to the leaked rom/OMJ2 for now

Worked for me!!

Flashed the new Sprint 3.42 rom (2.31 unlocker installed) and soft reset BEFORE the customizations, then installed the OMJ Custom Bell Rom - result new 3.42 Radio, everything else stays the same - everything works.

Seem to be getting better GPS locks and better reception (more signal bars) than the 3.37.15 Radio
