TouchPal and New Update?
 

I just did the new offical update and my touchpal doesnt work now. I installed it but at the very end of the install, the screen goes black but before that it says on the top bar "We're Sorry...." then the usual reset phone to complete the install. Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Yeah I did not download the 6.1 version. Silly mistake...thanks guys!

Is this just the 3.0 version?

I'm still using 2.0 and it seems to be working fine after moving to 6.1

I initially tried to install the touchpal v3 for wm6 and then tried to install wm6.1 version but it also fails. any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

edit: I needed to delete the Program Files/Touchpal folder before the installation was successful. nevermind!

has anyone noticed that the official rom comes with opera. or did i download the wrong one

I do not have opera with the new update. I'm not sure why. Everything else seems to have worked. I did have to go into windows and install telenav. Seems like differrent people are getting different results with the update.

If you are not getting opera or getting your telenav to work, it did not install correctly. Many people have to install twice. Once you install it via computer, people say to bring it to your charger and let it customize but make sure to touch the screen every 10 seconds or so. That way, the phone doesn't sleep and "skip" some files.

I followed this and everything is on there that is suppose to be.

I wonder what else I'm missing. I won't use opera anyway since I have skyfire. I already installed most of my apps so I guess I'll have to see how the new version of spb backup works.

I was one of the unfortunate who had to install the rom twice in order for sprint navigation and opera to function properly. Not sure why the second installation works without any problems, but its worth a retry if you are missing opera and sprint nav icon doesnt work.
