shell32 prolem
 

after flashing to 6.1 , rev.a and gps i will occasionally get a issues with shell32 and it will bring up the error reporting menu, i can always just hit don't send and everythings normal, one time it just kept happening though, i would hit don't send, it would lockup for 20 seconds and then come up again.

any idea what causes this? i did a quick search and didn't find any topics already about it.

What issues or programs does it say are malfunctioning? It should tell you why it is popping up.

Musicman has a point - I had a similar issue and it was due to me deleting files off my storage card that were still trying to be referenced by another program I had installed. I just did a hard reset and re-synced my contacts and installed my applications again and it doesn't error for me anymore.

:/ i wasnt doing anything last time it did it, i just hit the power button and it was up.

You don't necessarily have to be manually running anything. One program I had a problem with was like SPB time or something to that effect - basically it was supposed to run in the background but every time I tried to switch screen I had error pop ups. Can you type out exactly what the error message says when it pops up on your device?

right now im running cradlealarm which starts up with the device i might have had IE or opera up at the time but i don't think so. i will have to see when/if it happens again whats going on

ya it did it again and the only thing running in the background was my cradle alarm, not sure. When i started back up my device, it came up with the error report right away, and every time i hit not send it would go straight to the screen again until i finally hit to turn off error reporting.

I have had this issue 2x with my wifes BONE STOCK Alltel touch, I have installed no programs at all it is a stock alltel 6.1 rom with no mods at all.. Any help?
