Cloning PPP Password, HA Shared Secret, and AA Shared Secret
Right...
Like the title says, I'm looking to clone the PPP Password, HA Shared Secret, and AA Shared Secret from my xv6700 to my new xv6900. Please keep in mind this is a CLONED 6900, of the 6700, so I'm trying to make it work seamlessly without contacting Verizon. I can get it authenticated and working on the Verizon network just fine for phone calls; I've done it enough and know how to do this as good as any I suppose. I even copy my A key over so I don't have to re-authenticate with Verizon. Data, however, is another story. Originally I had data working from the clone somehow, but ended up clearing those values out in thinking they were preventing me from authenticating with voice (ends up they weren't). I know how to fix this, I just need to know how to pull the values from the 6700 and put them into the 6900. I understand the basic concept and know how to verify via PST (##778), I just need to know how I'm going to pull them from the 6700 and to the 6900. Am I going to be looking for hex in NV items or something? Any help would be appreciated. You can also assume I have tools like CDMA Workshop, QXDM and QPST. |
