Youtube almost unwatcheable video quality.
 

I installed the HTC Streaming Media player app to be able to watch youtube videos. The quality is EXTREMELY poor though, almost unwatcheable at all. It's like the typical trying to watch low res low quality clips on a regular computer with all the compression blockiness and noise, but much worse. You can barely make anything out in the videos sometimes.


Now since the phone screen is so small, and low res, I woulda guessed even low res low quality clips would look ok since the screen is small and already low res...just better suited.


Any ideas on what the deal is? Is it just the mobile you tube site REALLY destroying the videos streaming even smaller and lower quality since it is intended for mobiles? The HTC player? Maybe our phone's lack of proper video drivers?
