Normal data connection behavior?

Whenever my xv6900 needs a data connection it dials this #777 number. I'm familiar with this number as I've used it before on a old phone for tethering purposes. I'm just use to the data connection happening in the back ground, and I'm coming off a moto q9m.

My phone is flashed with OMJ's Custom Verizon ROM, is this the way it is supposed to work?

It is normal. If you want to get rid of the bubble you might want to check over in the registry tweaks forum.

Here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=10668

If you dont see it then post and someone may have a reg edit for it.

but it is normal.

Thanks for the info trantrum.

I've run into a new snag regarding this. I went to pull up a web page and I was asked for the login info for the data connection. I guess i accidentally deleted something?
Anyone know the information i need or know where i can look to get it?

I got this once. I just left it blank and continued to the web page i was loading and it opened with no problems. If it wont open the page try a a soft reset.

hopefully this helps. If it doesnt then post more details of what you did right before this happend.

Leave all the info blank and check "Save Password" so it doesn't prompt you in the future.

For Verizon the user name and password are both "Verizon". Without the quotation marks of course...... Sprint is just blank I believe.
