Re: sms-chat as default message program
Hey i've done a little research and it seems that there isnt a way to make it take over as default sms program, however, if you have sms-chat notifications on and windows mobiles of, it feels like its all you have.
Unfortunatly you still can't open it from the HTC home plugin.... i'd remap a softkey |

I've searched the registry for a way to do this. I have not been able to find a way to change the program path for those 3 buttons on the today screen (email, sms, and missed calls). However, as spamftw said, you can change the application path for the 2 softkeys at the bottom of the screen. I once knew how to do this, but I don't remember which keys you have to change in the registry anymore. I'll keep looking around for a way to do this. |

Re: sms-chat as default message program
You can change the softkeys through "Schaps Advanced Config Tool". Its a free download.
Also if you are using PhoneAlarm 2.0 you can map the SMS notification inside PA to any SMS program you want. |
