Video output
 

Ok i did a search and all i found was info on the audio output side. I was wondering if the is any kind of plug that will do audio plus VIDEO output from the touch?

Interesting ... The Toshiba e805 Presentation Pack was/is an extension to the Toshiba Pocket PC that enabled exactly that; video out. The Toshiba e805 is a Windows Mobile device (WM2003), so I wonder: Was something specific to the Toshiba hardware, or is/was it something within the Windows Mobile APIs?

Do you happen to know?

See i was looking for something that just it a 3.5mm to video and rca cables. Like for example on the ipod and the zune there a cable that plugs into the 3.5mm jack that gets you video and audio. Im just wanting to hook it up to a small 7in monitor. I know the picture quaitly will maybe be bad b/c im goin from a small screen on the touch to a large screen but i was just wanting to try it out.

Sorry then, I got off on a tangent of possibilities ... obviously there is a big difference between something being possible and existence of something on the shelf that you could go and buy, plug in, install a piece of supporting software and go to town. Apologies for taking in the discussion in a direction that you obviously didn't intend.

While it might be possible to achieve your goal, I would guess that there is almost zero chance that you're going to see something like this come to market as a commercial product.

At best, this idea sounds like something the folks working on Android could be coaxed into supporting ... if it were something that could scale across multiple devices.
