Which ROM and How To with Mac
 

Hey,

I have just gotten a HTC Touch. I would like to know what ROM I should upgrade/flash(?) to and how exactly do I do this. Also my computer is a Mac. Oh and if you could also tell me how to rest the device as I bought it second hand and want to start fresh.

if you want to hard reset push both the send and end buttons and soft reset all at the same time. and i dont know how to help you on tht mac situation.

I have access to a pc if that helps. It's just not my main computer.

i have flashed from both vista and xp so where are we startin im guessing from the beginning. first of all i need to know what carrier and what you want to upgrade to.

Hey, I am starting from the beginning. I am a complete noob at this.

I am with Optus Australia (is this what you mean?). And I have been reading about the ones with Rev A and GPS (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24979). Would this be appropriate?

well i do thank you for readingand before you start doing anyflahing make sure bootloader is unlocked with imcokemans 2.31 unlocker. i am not sure if there is cooked roms for your carrier really before you do any of this is your CDMA or GSM. CDMA=no sim card.

It's GSM. We don't have CDMA here in Oz anymore.

well then you might try looking here. it has more options for the GSM vogue all ROMs here are for the CDMA vogue.
