Re: ##78# then unlock code?

ok so i put it back to enable and ran some numbers which were much lower than before i changed anything. i used to read in the 800s all day long... i'm at work which may not be an area with a strong rev a. here were my reading on enable: 416, 256, 303, 387, 252, 462, 477, 380, 337.... i get upset when i don't get a good reading so i do it a bunch of times lol... one more time going back to "disable" and that should clarify it all

ok confused. so by default my phone is not using the rev a??

i have a verizon touch. how can i see and make sure i'm using rev a?
i used OMJ's custom verizon rom...but didn't make any special settings after flashing.

thanks.

ok, so i keep getting the same speeds regardless of what i've changed... i'ma have to do it when i get to my crib cuz i am SURE i have rev a out there... maybe not here at work :(

Tom: i'm guessin it should be workin right after the flash, but i decided to try this out cuz it had to be changed on my old mogul. the best way to make sure is to change the setting as described in this thread and test it for yourself... it didn't work for me, but i'm blaming it on the area i'm in... i'll find out for sure in a couple hours.

hmm ##78# doesn't work on verizon. i can't remember what it is, but i know ive seen it before to get into the settings. plus the code after that was something silly like all zeros or something.

Re: ##78# then unlock code?

thanks. i see no reference to rev a in the settings... what would one be looking for to ensure rev a is setup on a verizon touch? thanks.
