Kinda Weird Verizon Xv 6900 upgrade ??
 

Can anyone tell me why i just upgrded my verizon touch to the omj gps rev a rom and i never hd to call verizon to reauthenticate my phone everything works can some one tell me why i seem to be special i dont know if this is bad or good.

Only first time you flash, or on stock rom every time you hard reset... for most at least

did u upgrade everything or just flash his rom? if u fully unlocked it thanks to cokeman and updated ur radio to 3.37ish then u are pretty lucky. i had to reauthenticate only once when i did the alltel radio update.

radio upgraded and rom rev a working and never had to call them i guess im just lucky

radio upgraded and rom rev a working and never had to call them i guess im just lucky the only thing i did that wasnt in the instructions was after i ran the unlocker the customizations started and i softreset as well even though it said to do it when alltel tried to run them i skiped the alltel customization 2.

and another question now that im fully unlocked am i able to switch between different gps and 6.1 roms as long as the are for radio 3.xx without a radio update.

yea u should have no problem switching between roms as long as u have the cokeman 2.31 unlocker. nicely done

is there anything i need to do specificly for verizon gps that is the only thing not working ive done the change to location on and change to com2 as suggested in the omj post
