I think the most reliable to ask about the update is our Sprint Employees. They should know more than everyone else so Pls. I see a couple of Sprint employees here. Give as some inside stories. Thanks

Sprint doesn't really tell their employees too much information about pending updates. Rumors of updates swirl around the sprint workplace just as they do around here.

Nothing but conjecture on the internet and internally. I don't have a single contact who is willing to give me a date, either at Sprint or HTC. My HTC contact is happy with the feedback I have given him regarding my REVA/GPS on my Touch though. :)

the HTC rep said within 45 days.......and that was on may 15th

For what its worth... I've had my HTC Touch about 6 months... I spoke with a sprint rep.. who transferred me to tech support.. then I called back to customer service and asked for a supervisor.. enough run-around, right? The Supervisor reviewed the sprintstore.sprint.com link that 'commits' the GPS update to being out by end of Q1. He agreed to let me send my Touch back for a full refund.. OR .. I could wait a few weeks and he would swap it free for a Samsung Instinct.
