Trouble transfering Cab files to ppc
 

I just got my verizon branded touch. I am trying to transfer cab files from my pc to my phone via windows mobile center. When i try to drag a cab file over to the ppc to drop it, it wont let me. It just shows a red not allowed symbol. Ive tried to drop it into numerous different folders of the ppc and it doesnt let me. Anybody know what i could be doing wrong?

I have the same phone and I noticed that I would get the red circle when I tried to move the contents of zipped files.

If that's what you're doing, move the entire zipped file to your phone then unzip it.

I just open two windows of explorer and drag-n-drop. One I have opened to c:\whatever, the other is opened to \My smartphone\whatever. Never used wmdc for that.

edit: you'll find your phone listed after all your cd-drives and other drives in the list...
