HTC Touch Question
 

I'm new here and have quick question.

I want to buy a HTC Touch on ebay and I want to know If any carriers' (Verizon, Sprint) phone can be unlocked and flashed by Alltel. I know that I need a CDMA phone, but I'm not clear as to which carriers phone can be used and converted to Alltel. I'm also unsure about the unlocking process and if there is any at all available to convert the phone to alltel.

I apologize if this is covered somewhere in the forums and I failed to find the thread, but I'm new to smart phones and setting them up for different carriers.

First Unlock your Touch using Cokeman's 2.31 unlocker found here:

And then install the new Touch Alltel ROM. Download here:

http://216.139.227.226/alltel/RUU_Vo...pecia lNBH.exe

Call ALLTEL and make sure that they will accept the new ESN from your new Touch.
