XV6900 Field Test or Service Mode

I have been trying to access the signal strength reading on my Touch but cannot find the correct access procedure. I have explored what is available by dialing ##778...send but that seems to be static information.

Does anyone know how to get into this mode? There is lots of great information here but none for the Verizon Touch. The Sprint instructions do not work.

Sprint PPC 6700
Run application FieldTrial.exe located in WINDOWS folder.

Of course I can see verizon one to remove that as to protect their "Can you hear me now" thing...If you don't have it, maybee someone can upload it for you to try...

Edit: Or try the phonecodes.cab available here...somewhere...

Thanks for the quick response but as you suggested, it is not present on my Verizon XV6900.

Any other ideas..........................?
