Error after Sprite backup
 

In prep for the HTC upgrade, I tried a Sprite backup/restore. Now every time I turn on my phone I get the following error message:
The file "mortscript" cannot be opened it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found try reinstalling or restoring this file"

Can anyone tell me what program "mortscript" comes from and/or how to solve this error.

probably because it was not in the sprite backup or registry? what scripts are you using with mort? i would just reinstall mortscript.

I'm afraid that's the problem. I'm new to smart phones. Don't know what scripts I'm using with mort and have no idea how to re-install it. I found a file called Mortscrip 4.1

When I extracted it there were 3 different cabs
Cab 1 mortscript pna
Cab 2 mortscript ppc
Cab 3 Morscript sp

I installed each of these one at a time to the phone. If it didn't work I deleted it and installed the other. I received the same error each time. That Mortscript exe cannot be opened.
