Why is it that every time....
 

Almost every time I try to download ROMs off PPCgeeks FTP I have NO SUCCESS? It will ask me where to save it and then....nothing. Always ends up timing out and failing. Specifically i am trying to get OMJ 6.1 GPS Sprint Custom ROM ( http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25335 ) . I am unlocked and running the "test" ROM now and really want OMJs ROM. Please help....I am at my wits end.

Before flashing this rom....*

-unlock w/ ImCokeMan's v2.31 unlocker (you may not need to unlock 1st, if you're a Sprint user)

-Flash the leaked rom .exe to upgrade your radio to 3.37.15 (skip post-flash Customization if you're non-Sprint)

Thanks for trying to help but I dont think I made my issue clear. I have the proper radio (3.37.15) installed and I am unlocked with 2.31. I am not having a problem with any installs....I cant get the dang FILE TO DOWNLOAD to my pc so I can install it on my phone or even extract it and instal via microsd. (i am currently running "derek's ROM v20 w/ GPS")

what browser are you using? try firefox is using MSIE, or vice versa...

I am on firefox and have tried IE. I am sorry to be so difficult but this is nuts. i can get most items to download as is evidenced by my current software and radio versions. This only happens sometimes. I even turned of my firewall and virus protection.

that's frustrating, i just tried and it d/l'd normally. sounds like your machine/browser/internet connection are b0rked somehow.

There have recently been FTP issues related to their old hosting service. I think they are in the process of switching the FTP to the same server that the site runs on. Give it some time, or you could get in touch with Mindfrost. There is a thread going here.
