What GPS are you using/tried?

Tried NavNGo's iGo8 and have had no luck with it gaining access to the GPS. Wouldn't recognize it on any ports/baud rates.

About to try Tom Tom next but it seems to be a pain in the *** getting all the stuff from the appropriate "store"

Sweet! Thanks it works now! I just can't get terrains to load or find a TTS. Can't find a decent location for terrains. Found a ton of maps with POI/map/buildings but no terrain.

How are the maps compared to Iguidance 4 or TomTom 6? I have both, but they are fairly outdated. Apparantly TomTom 7 will be out sometime in June, however I haven't found any god data on that.

So are they pretty up-to-date?

Have you tried the GpsGate program and making a virtual com port?

Used a fix posted in another thread. Basically was a launcher for a GpsGate type program that was integrated with iGo8

maps seem up to date but then again the roads around here havne't changed in a while

Im using inav. However i flashed to the gps OEM touch rom the program is laggy to the point were its unusable. Ive tried multiply installs and the problem doesnt go away. But before this it worked pretty well only had one routing problem.
