Is Verizon Touch Java enabled?
For you Verizon Touch owners, are your phones java enabled? I have Sprint Touch, and my brother just got the Verizon Touch, but on his phone there is no Java application like on the Sprint.
I also tried to install OperaMini on his phone but the phone just won't recognize the file or how to open it. Is he missing something on his phone or is that the way Verizon ships it? Thanks in advance for the feed back. |
Re: Is Verizon Touch Java enabled?
Not sure about The Touch, however on verizons phones you must have a .cab extension, where as some others use different extensions. Try the opera mini on the verizion and see if it works.

Re: Is Verizon Touch Java enabled?
If the jbed application isn't installed, follow this link (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...light=jbed+cab) and go to post #10, download and install the .cab. Then you should be able to install java apps without a problem. I don't remember seeing the app. when I got my xv6900, but I have it installed and use gmail, gmaps, and opera mini 4.1.
