what is the most stable/best rom out??
Been Flashing Like Crazy So What... Is The Most Stable Rom Available? Jd's Basic Rom Was Cool, Worked Great But I Couldnt Get Tcpmp Or Youtube Video To Work On It. I Just Want A Stable Rom Cause As Of Now, My Phone Wont Connect To Active Sync, I Had Reset. It Works For A While , Does The Same Thing. Any Suggetions?

Try disabling advanced network functionality under usb-pc settings (in the connections tab)

Been flashing like crazy and wondering why your phone isn't stable...? =D>
Just bugging yah... I have been running OMJ's v6.1 ROM now for a while and it is very nice... Also someone will surely suggest using the PPCkitchen to build your own ROM... I think that will be my next choice should I choose to leave the soft and fuzzy confines of OMJ's ROM... |
Re: what is the most stable/best rom out??
With the amazing work that the guys over that PPCKitchen.org have done with BuildOS, it's very easy to cook your own ROM now.
Before 2 days ago, I had never run a custom ROM. I read, read, read, then read some more on this site and unlocked, flashed to the leaked Sprint ROM (to get my radio up from stock to 3.37.15), then cooked my own ROM (WM6.1 leaked Sprint 3.02 w/ RevA & GPS) using BuildOS. The instructions sound difficult, but it's surprisingly easy once you get to doing it. |

I use Derek's ROM, been doing so for the past several versions. Love it! :)

Re: what is the most stable/best rom out??
i've been using mustan-tech's clean rom for the last week or so and it works marvellously. i had to install a couple of cabs to account for a missing HTC Album and a screwed up HTC keyboard, but other than that it's fantastic. I like a clean ROM because I prefer to install all the application software I need.
On my handset Mustan-tech's ROM gets me a GPS fix in under 10 seconds consistently with Google Maps. I can run Tomtom6 no problem with the GPS primed with Google Maps. Dunno about Rev. A but my downloads and uploads are lightning fast on the TELUS networks. I find WM6.1 fast and responsive, I kinda like the threading on SMS. Some people were having trouble with Touchpal with the new Sprint Kitchen but it works fine for me, although I can't say I'm that thrilled about Touchpal really, I might uninstall it soon. Have to say I'm very happy with my handset, can't believe how crippled Telus' factory version is. I bought it out of contract for $250 CDN, and I had no idea how cool a phone I was getting. Thanks to all the cooks out there, plus the community for helping me have a great experience with my phone. |

I gotta throw a vote in for JD's latest light ROM 5-14-08. It's quick, stable and the gps locks better than another ROM I have used. His stuff just gets better and better.
