I think a really good durable ziplock baggy would work better at least then you could try to press hard enough to use the touchscreen. Although I wouldnt be want to put my touch underwater in anything really.

i have a water resistant bluetooth headset. when i go swimming i leave the touch on the deck and the headset with me in the pool.

actually I just ordered it.

I'm a nautical phone support. I find it to work fine, but sometimes the customers cannot hear me. It works wonders for deep sea downloading though.
