Clearing the XT9 Dictionary?
 
i want to clear all my saved words for XT9 texting, so i went to settings and input and "clear word compilation" and clicked ok and did a soft reset and nothing happened ): is there any other way to do it?

Delete these files and soft reset.

eT9Rudb.Rdb, eT9Cdb.Cdb, and eT9AsDb.Adb

go to settings, input, word completion, and clear stored entries.

did that and nothin happened, the reason i want clear it is because when i type stuff, maybe the previous owner of the phone typed youer instead of youre and there is a lot more, instead of by "nt" pops up lol and im just getting lazy of manually selecting the right word ha

I am unable to delete these files (total commander - unable to delete 1 file)

Try Resco Explorer. I've found that whenever TC won't do the job, Resco will.
