Hi Vogue folks. I'm moving over from the Apache forum this week! I hope to get it running a tweaked GPS ROM as soon as it comes in and can't wait to see what it can do.

you've probably cooked with the ppcgeeks apache kitchen before; the kitchen works nicely with the vogue. You might want to run the updater now so you have everything ready to roll once your vogue comes in. I went from the xv6700 to the xv6900. I tried the kitchen selecting the sprint rom; the keyboard wouldn't pop up so I went back to the other gps rom in the kitchen for the vogue, added some drivers (look at the sprint gps rom thread and omj's gps thread), and gps works great. Have fun!!

I already have the updates. Hell, I have all the kitchen files for Apache, Mogul, and Touch! I've already done the preselections for my new phone and saved them so it's really a matter of getting the device in hand. As a regular member here I keep up with everything! I've been doing my "homework" and the latest Vogue kitchen releases tipped the scale to upgrade to the Touch versus the Mogul.

Hey, great to have the Doctor of Guitar onboard! What took you so long? (Just kidding.) I've seen some of your posts, enough to know you're deserving of respect for the helpful way in which you write facts and information. Have had my Touch since the day it became available, over half a year now, and the honeymoon is still going on.

Thanks for the praise. I'll continue the tradition here in the Vogue forums once I get "aquainted" with the new toy. I hope that I'll have similar success with my Vogue, and be able to pass on my helps as I did in the Apache forums. I'm keeping the Apache for testing, and sentimental reasons, but I'll be glad I'm not carrying around the old brick :mrgreen:
