Text message notifications
Is there a way to make it so my touch continues to vibrate or beep every x amount of minutes until i see an unread text msg or missed phone call?
Thanks |

Re: Text message notifications
Sorry to bump but i really find it ridiculous that we have to buy a 15$ program (which actually did not work for me, but i was hasty so it might be me) just to get repeating alerts for missed texts. I've read about the registry edits that enable the repeating notification, but they apparently do not stop for a set amount of time, rather than when the text message is read. There has got to be a better way. Anyone?

Re: Text message notifications
Want something done, and done right, you must do it yourself. Dont like a program, then write your own. Cant write one? STFU...

PhoneAlarm works great. Well worth the money in my mind. You could also check out DontForget2 which was free for a time but Im not sure anymore.

Re: Text message notifications
I settled on alarmPal which is made by pocketmax (makers of phonealarm) but with less features and for half the price. Obviously people took my post as being whiny which it kind of was, as i had just realized that my new ppc phone did not have one of the basic features that any cheap phone comes with. Whatever, no big deal, i just think m$ dropped the ball here. Thanks for the suggestions!

Re: Text message notifications
I would say read as much as you can here. The possibilities of these kinds of phones, IMO, is somewhat limitless. Every time i have thought to myself that i would like my phone to do something i just google it, and only once have i not found an answer. Most of the answers can be found on this site.
