SD problems - here/there
 

Been running the Alltel rom since it came out, and have had no SD card problems.

Ran the test rom for one day (gps works fine out of the box btw), and the sd card disappeared.

Sure hope Sprint/HTC gets their hands around that problem before it goes to production!

Any more problems with the sd card? Mine has been fine so far, and I had many corruption issues that fixed themselves with ethe alltel rom..and seem ok so far on the sprint rom. That better be fixed $%#^

Hmm no reply.. well I have had the leaked rom on my phone since last friday and no sd card corruption issues. I think it is fixed, and your problem was an anomaly of sorts.

Sorry. Been very busy at work.

That's a good thing on many levels as it allowed me to leave my phone alone to see how stable the leaked rom is ;-)

So far, so good. I had the SD problems during the initial installation, and had one day where the phone locked up on me 2-3 times in a row. I don't remember the details (as it happened when I was on the road), but think it was something to do with a rogue Today plug-in.

Besides that, after about a week of steady use, everything seems fine...

i understand being busy :)

In anycase I feel so confident in the sd card that I deleted my music backup for the touch. I still backup everything else from the touch, but no longer feel the need to backup my 5 gigs of music (although if something traumatic did happen then I could rebuild my music, it would just take longer).
