Youtube from HTC
This is the new Youtube player from HTC, no more flashbundle needed
I heard it is ripped from the new Diamond, anyway, it works flawlessly on my Touch. http://rapidshare.com/files/11360578...play_.CAB.html |

Soft reset, then load the program from your programs file. Type in what you're looking for and search. You will only get about 5 files, hit the YouTube button again and the next group of search items will come up. Just continue to you find what you wanna watch. Just tap on the video and you will see some code lines and then push play and there you go. Installed on my Touch and works just fine. |
Re: Youtube from HTC
This program was actually pointed out a few
weeks ago by another member. For those having trouble using it troubleshoot with this thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24083 |

Re: Youtube from HTC
yes the program does work good, its easy to install too.
The only thing is Tcmp player and Video bundle, looks so much better, there are alot more options with the tcmp player as well. Its easy and convienent but tcmp works alot better. |

Re: Youtube from HTC
All I do is click on any video from m.youtube.com and the HTC Streaming Media Player opens up and plays the video. Its awesome. No need for special flash bundles, TCMP, ect... I downloaded "HTC Streaming Media Player" here on PPCGeeks, just do a search, download, install, and youtube all you want using the real youtube site.

Re: Youtube from HTC

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380387 I used the player and buffer settings from ytpocket.com and enabled "raw framebuffer" for much better performance. I think you have to do a soft reset after installing. EDIT: I also read that uninstalling and reinstalling TCPMP has helped some people with this issue. |

Again,
Just download the HTC Streaming Video cab, install, and watch streaming youtube videos straight from their m.youtube.com website without any modding. This also works with the Sprint leaked Touch ROM. I have uploaded the cab file for you. Just unzip it and place the cab on your Touch and install. Hope this helps! |
Re: Youtube from HTC
Youtubeplay>all imo because it works perfectly for me. videos play fine, no waiting for buffering. m.youtube.com+HTC Streaming media isn't the best for me because m.youtube.com doesn't have all of the videos that the normal youtube site has. At least it didn't last time I checked

That was only when it first launched. All the videos are uploaded simultaneously on both sites now, and it only takes about 2-3 sec to buffer on the new Rev A ROMs, and about 5-6 sec on non-Rev A. Check it out and try it, you just might like it better. If you dont, just uninstall ;) |
Re: Youtube from HTC
does this play other files/ videos besides Youtube? for instance highlight clips on ESPN.com. also can It be used on the HTC Touch? :drunken:
