GPS will see satellites but wont lock on?
 

I am using the newest GPS kitchen and I can't get my gps to lock on. It will see satellites in GPS Viewer and will lock on for about half a second and then loses them. I have tried the new radio, the drivers in the sticky and a few roms and cant get a lock. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I was getting the same issue last night on my drive home. It was due to the drivers not reinitializing properly after standby (they're still working that issue).
If you are using the new drivers from the "new gps drivers" sticky, try a soft reset then open up your GPS stuff before you let it go to standby, see if it is more responsive then

Mine does the same thing from the very beginning. GPS able to detect multiple sats, but the phone just sits at Acquiring- No Fix

Mine does the exact same thing. In GPS viewer, it sits there, sees a bunch of sats, and will position them on the map for just a second...then see nothing.

Sadly, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes reseting it or pulling the battery won't fix it either...

Ok this is strange, I don't have this problem @ all, my phone works every time, but my friends phone wont get a lock on at all?

Well guys i dont mean to bloat (yes i do lmao jk)
but i am using the titan radio...with the titan gps dll's and i seriously get a lock indoors in about 30 seconds on a rainy day:headbang:
So try upgrading your dll's and that should fix your problem

That does not work. I have tried both the titan and alltel radio. It will see multiple satellites but won't lock on 3/4's of the time.

the dll's like the ones packaged in a cab file did nothing to solve my problem. oh well, at least rev a is active
