Question about Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom
 

Hey guys,

I'm new here. I Just upgraded from a 2 year old phone to my first smart phone. These phones are more complicated than I thought. I'm usually very good with computers, as building computers comes easy to me yet I am confused about my smart phone.
I just bought the HTC vogue for Alltel service. Since I just bought the phone, shouldn't it come already upgraded with version 3.04.671.2? If not, are there any specific rules on how to download this new version. Since I don't know much about smartphones, I don't want to mess up my phone. Can someone that has updated their vogue to 3.04 give me some tips. Also, does this version enable gps?

It's really not complicated. I am similar to you in that at first I was having a little trouble figuring out my phone. I just used the link on here to HTC's website, and followed the direction's very slowly. If you take your time and read every thing first you should be fine. remember this is from the manufacturer so it should be relitively safe. Just back up any info you want first. just keep looking around here and you will get that phone all figured out, these guy's on here are sweet.
