If you subscibe to Sprint Navigation, you should be ok, since it does not require an external GPS device. But if you subscribe Telenav, they are yet to update their current version for the mogul to allow you use the internal GPS, you can do what I did, which is to use the one for ATT tilt (AT&T 8925 (Tilt)). I have been using it for approxiamtely 2 weeks without any issues.

Is there any real difference between the two - Sprint Nav and Telenav?

Thanks for the tip about using the At&t version of Telenav! I was also looking for a solution to quit using Sprint Navagation.

To the other poster, there isnt a colossal difference between the two applications. Telenav 5.2 is just generally further along in development and adds a few minor features I lost when upgrading my Moguls rom.

Re: TELENAV WITH THE NEW REV A.???????? Impossible????

I was subscribed to Telenav and needed an external GPS. I questioned them as to why is Sprint capable of using the internal GPS and not you? They stated that Sprint works independently. I found this hard to believe since its indeed powered by TeleNav. Still scratching my head. So I didnt want to carry an extra piece around and stuck with Sprint's Navigation... ummm ... powered by TeleNav. Go Figure. OK anyone interested in a Bluetooth GPS Receiver?? I will sell it for dirt cheap!!

Later,
TWIN

why don't you guys buy the gps software instead of paying a monthly fee?

Garmin Mobile XT is pretty neat, if not better than telenav and it cost $99 one time.
