"digital roaming" - can't call or browse web
 

I recently did a ROM update for the REV A and GPS. Frequently when it boots, I can't call or browse the web. The dialer pad says right about the name of the last call "digital roaming" When I dial the number I get a message over the speaker "LA-02 - message 1 you're call cannot be completed at this time please try your call again later."

I can't figure out what is going on - my guess is that it is trying to dial telus or alltel or some such thing.

Every now and then I'll boot and everything works fine.


I realize these are not completed rom updates but maybe there is something that people who haven't done the update know about this issue.

Not sure if it matters but I have free roaming with my plan and I have good coverage in my apartment 4 bars so it isn't that I can't get sprint signal - this is only after the rom update.


EDIT - I just applied the latest PRL - seems to help the issue.

Even after applying the latest PRL - I get the triangle and digital roaming when first booting - sometimes it goes away quickly - sometimes it takes a long while.
