Just got a NEW Touch, New Rom version??
 

I just went up to the Sprint store and started complaining that I was having all kinds of problems with my phone that I never really had because I had a crack in the housing and the power button no longer worked so they just gave me a new one!! It was so easy. I honestly can't believe that they just gave me a new one since there was only user inflicted damage and nothing really wrong with it like everyone else seems to have.

Well the reason I made this post is because I noticed that the ROM version seems different.

The ROM version on my NEW Touch is CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)

Is this the same version that comes on the phone shipped for everyone? Anyone who got their Touch a while ago have a different ROM version when they received it?

Same one I got on my Touch. I have had my Touch since it came out.

Ok I just thought it seemed newer.

Well I'm really debating on whether or not I am going to upgrade to Rev A on this one. I was having a LOT of troubles getting Rev A and GPS to work properly no matter what ROM I tried and it almost seems like it isn't worth it. I think I'm just gonna wait until Sprint's official ROM update comes out enabling Rev A and GPS because what does it seriously do for us?

Faster internet when tethered and smoother streaming video(youtube and Sprint TV)??

I would do it just because future roms and kitchens will be based off the new spl and radio
