Anyone else experiencing this w/ rev.a gps?

So i've been successfully running rev a and gps with jd's rom since the day it came out just fine.

but occasionally my phone just becomes EXTREMELY lethargic. this happens with no programs open, and am trying to narrow it down but haven't been able to-it appears to be random.

I am receiving push emails and weatherpanel updates every 30 min but that's it. it's nothing i'm not used to running before the gps/rev.a came about though

Re: Anyone else experiencing this w/ rev.a gps?

update: seems like it continues to lag extremely after soft resets (stylus in the hole, not power button, cause that'd take like 5 min). i hoped a soft reset would dump some of the RAM and that'd fix it...but nope.

Re: Anyone else experiencing this w/ rev.a gps?

I looked at the processes when it was doing it's thing. took 3 minutes to just go settings, task manager, processes.

turns out the culprit is shell32.exe. Now, i know this to be seriously embedded in the ROM, but it's running at 80-95% during this, and about 3-4MB...

P.S. I'm on Jd's gpstest2.1 ROM
