reset voicemail count

Anyone know how to reset the voicemail
count. I got a voicemail icon on my
touch that I can't get rid off. I already checked aand I don't
have any messages in my voicemail.

please help

BTW-I already soft reset 3 times and its still there

start>settings>phone>services tab>highlight voicemail>tap get settings
