Internet Sharing not working after Rev A update
I am trying to tether my Touch to my laptop to go online to test the data speed but it is not connecting after I upgraded to Rev A.
In the 'Internet Sharing' settings screen, I used to be able to select 'Sprint PCS' under 'Network Connection' which allowed me to go online using my laptop. The only option I have now after upgrading to Rev A is 'Data Network' which won't connect to the internet when I plug my phone into my laptop. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how did you get your internet working again? Thanks in advance for any help. |
Re: Internet Sharing not working after Rev A update
yeah, the only way i can tether using via USB is to disable Active Sync... open up active sync > menu> connections> then uncheck "Synchronize al Pcs using this connection" (should be listed below) then go back to internet sharing and hit connect again. **NOTE** change the settings back once ur finish so you can sync up again.

This is happening to me too.. Also I will get random disconnects from Activesync as well.

Re: Internet Sharing not working after Rev A update
The first time I flashed the Alltell and JDGpstest2.1 ROMs I had this problem. So I reflashed to stock ROM and flashed again. The second time when I flashed the GPStest2.1 I DID NOT allow the sprint customizations to run. This leaves the Alltel cube, but Internet Sharing works normally.

Re: Internet Sharing not working after Rev A update
I haven't had that problem at all. I just disconnected Internet Sharing a minute ago. And I didn't disable Activesync or anything. And I'm just using the Alltel rom btw
