3rd Party Keyboards switching back to default

I did a search and I only came up with one thread that was last responded to in Nov of 07 without resolution. I have Resco Keyboard and TouchPal, I like using them for different applications that I have. Well with the internet and live search especially they randomly switch to the default keyboard (you know the little white one that an infant's finger couldn't fit on to just one key). Does anyone know of any way to insure that this does not happen? I have Quick Menu so it enables me to pick the SIM I am going to use as my default (and trust me the default keyboard is NEVER used so it is definitely not my default). Any and all help is appreciated.

spb keyboard is good...been around a very long time (about 10 years to my count, I have an old 200MHz pda i installed it on back around 97)...it costs just under $10. IT still exists today and has been upgraded with all sorts of skins and new fangled capabilities...go figure. I suggest/recommend dat for yoose.
