Please help with adjust backlight
 

I have a new xv6900 and love it. I have one thing I would like to do, and have searched unsuccessfully for the answer. I do not like the htc home plugin, but I really like the 4 way adjust backlight button in the applications menu. I would like to add that switch to one of my ilauncher tabs, but am not able to find the link anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions.
