OH WTF??? stock keyboards stuck in number mode???
 

my stock keyboards are stuck in number mode!!! any ideas on what to do to fix?

My XV6900 did that when I installed PocketCM keyboard. When I removed it and soft reset my phone it went back to normal. Not really sure what the issue is.

yea i did the same to mine, its working now. the pocket cm phone book is ok, but for some reason that keyboard is buggy

Mine go into number mode only (i think) when im using opera mobile. Anybody know how to fix this?

i gave up on these keyboards, i just use the T9 style set up on the 0-9 keys.

I had this same problem. It was PCM Keyboard. I removed PCM and did a soft reset... all fine. The I reinstalled PCM keyboard and it is still working properly. Perhaps it takes 2 installs, but I can use either keyboard now without issue. It did not prompt for soft reset and I have not done one since reinstall so not sure if that will start the issue again.

I'm trying the new TouchPal v3 .. its pretty good, but I don't think there's anything perfect yet.
So far the Touch keyboard stock use to work well, then I tried Polen Vista Keyboard and its been my fav. i don't like having my phone sideways to use the SPB FUllscreen , and the PCM i cant use when im drunk lol.

SPB is a quality keyboard been around for over ten years, since Windows CE 1.0, lots of ugrades have occurred, but if its anything like it was...it is probably the ONE to use that u can trust..they have a demonstrated longevity and a working knowledge of the foundations and evolution of Windows CE/Mobile platforms...I know I sound like a commercial for them...but im just tying together all the facts..facts matter.
