Can't get yahoo email from Sprint Touch
 

I have been getting my yahoo email without any problems using the email account setup on my Sprint Touch. It automatically sets it up for you and gets all the information.

Today, I can't use it. It takes forever to log on to the account, and usually sends me back to the username and password account page if it doesn't timeout first. It just hangs on LoggingIn.

I called Sprint and the lady told me that Yahoo was cracking down...that we are supposed to pay for this service.

I have another yahoo account that is working perfectly...just not my main one.

Has anyone else heard of this or have any suggestions?

Did you try Yahoo Go! to see if you have problems getting your mail to come through there. I highly doubt that Yahoo is cracking down and making people pay to get their email, sounds like she does not know what she was talking about.

Yeah, it works on yahoo go, but that is a pain to have to use.
With the other way, I can just click on my message icon and go to my yahoo email.
I have reset this dumb thing about 10 times and it won't connect or log in with this account.

Are you doing IMap or POP on your phone? You might want to delete that account and reset it up. That is the best I can think of from my laymens point of view.

I totally deleted it, Memmaided my phone, soft reset, reinstalled same thing.

For some reason, it works all of a sudden. Yahoo even wrote back and said that they would not be blocking my account. So like Sprint.....
