getting MSL number doesnt work with getSPC
 

Sorry everyone I have been looking through all the threads about this and havent found any issues with GetSPC. When I run getSPC it asks for input. I put in the ESN number and a pop up comes up saying cannot find DLL. I was wondering if anyone has detailed info on this. I would like to perform the dial response hack.

you need to run it with the PPST_KeyGen.dll in the same directory as getspc is.

SPC is looking for a eight-digit string, your devices ESN in Hexadecimal. Be sure to enter it with capital letters! Get your Hex-ESN in the settings tab -> Device Information.

And the file is located here, the exe and dll...

Basically extract the zip and make sure both files go into the same folder

can any one help wen i try to open get spc

it tells me
C:\programfile\getspc\getspc(ppc 2003). exe is not a valid win32 application


can some one tell me what i need to doo

Put it on your touch, you run it from there.

but is there any way to make it work in my pc or it has to be on the phone

does it get ESN's for non pda phones?

You have to provide it your ESN which you can get from Device Info and it'll spit out the MSL
