You'll see above what I get when a call comes in... this happens sometimes immediately after a reset, sometimes it takes 24 hours or so but it always happens. The left is what I get when the contact doesn't have a photo, and the right is what displays when the calling party is assigned a photo.

I've had two different Touches and they both had the same issue-- I suspected it was the install of 6.1 I had on the previous phone but the new one started doing the same thing. Then I suspected it was SPB Diary since it's always the first thing I install.. I removed it but the issue came back.

Presently what I'm running is a STOCK Alltel Touch with the following installed

• CodyPPC LED Killer 3.1
• PHM Registry Editor
• LVM Topbat

I've done the reg edits for the Sent Message kill and the HTC Gallery folder mod-- otherwise it's just like it came from the store.

check to see if your caller id function is enabled or working on your account. I took that feature off once when i had verizon to see what would happen, and whenever a call would come through, no matter if they were in my phonebook or not, it would show a blank caller

Ya sounds like a network issue not your phone. Call your service provider and ask about it.

It's not service related -- I mentioned in the post that it works fine after a reset.

This has happened to me on my touch several times as well. Have no idea what it's about. I have pocket plus and several games and a couple browsers installed, nothing else major.

sounds like a issue with the phone itself. Usually a first wave release of a brand new model will always have some bugs, maybe this is one and if so its a HUGE one!!!!
