ROMS/GPS enabled?/RADIO is gps?
 

Hi Guys,

Do any of these ROMS enable GPS? or are we still awaiting a patch for HTC?

If these ROMS do enable GPS please let me know what im suppose to be looking for or give me a stable one you can suggest :)

Please let me know guys :) I'd be very interested in using a custom rom?

Why use a custom rom when you can just install the apps your self too?

And what is "Radio" on these phones?

I cant seem to find my answers :)

Before you get flamed, I'll explain it Barney style.

To have GPS you have to have a bunch of things working.

The Bootloader must initialize the GPS hardware for the OS. The Titan Bootloader is so dramatically different from the Vogue that it doesn't work.

After the boot loader initializes, you have to have the hardware recognized by the device. Once it's recognized by the device the drivers and software have to be installed.

Right now, everyone is stuck at the bootloader. Without that, the device summarily thinks the hardware doesn't exist even though it does. There are currently projects to try to port the bootloader string by string, but it's slow going.
