what in your oppinion is the best page pool to set at?

The default is 12. Some people were using 20-32 in custom ROMs. Since some of those ROMs were experiencing lockups, a lot of them went back down to 12.

I've set mine to 0 and had it at zero for two weeks now with no issues. (..and it feels fast!)
