Not allowing sprint customization on startup?
 

What will happen if after I hard reset the device I do not allow the sprint customization to install. Will this leave me with a clean working device w/o all of the sprint garbage? I am assuming I would have to set up the internet connection for data, but would anything else be effected?

Yes.

Internet should work as well.

It often will trigger an over the air update after a hard reset on it's own and will configure the network. If it does not you can manually trigger it.
