Please Help - All Messaging Broke
 

Suddenly last night after I got two text messages I lost all messaging functions on my phone. The email and txt buttons on Today screen do nothing and if I choose Messaging from Start Menu or new email or new text from Action Screen it tries to open as the colored ball thing pops up but then it just goes to Today screen. I no longer receive emails or txt messages. Can anyone help PLEASE?
I don't know what to do. The missed calls and voice mail buttons on Today Screen work fine. I have a htc touch with sprint which I got new in Jan 08. I did not make any changes or install any programs between it working and not. Just while I was out last night. I read 1 of 2 txt msgs and a few hours later nothing worked. I have the following programs installed: emunutz htc home customizer v10(Final), program launcher, schap's advanced configuration tool, some themes, yahoo go 2, a few games, pockettv, mundu montage, pocketscreen, google maps, poorlyduck vista audiomgr, comm mgr, action screen and dialer, total commander and pocketcm keyboard.
I hope someone can help and tell me how to fix messaging. Thank you in advance.

Have you tried soft reseting it? Sorry, I have to ask.

i only wish i had been able to read it sooner. I did save attachments to my memory card. Suddenly this evening the inbox and txt msgs worked and i was very excited. Unfortunately i figured out the issue or one of the issues which is deleting every file on the storage card. The only thing left is the inbox (hahahahaha) of course i never realized that could happen and had not made a copy of my storage card for a while. Thanks for the link and I will be changing the location of my attachments. so not loving the touch
