I want to type 'A' not 'S'
 

Can somebody tell me how to make the device default to one word over another. It is very frustrating that it always chooses 's' when i'm just trying to type an 'a' . When i tried to add a custom word and I put in 'a' it still doesn't default to 'a'

Help would be appreciated!

You must have accidentally added the word "s" to your dictionary. See if that's the case and remove it

Mine always types a over s. It is very annoying when trying to make a world plural. This was where the BB predictive text really shined. I wish I would rip it and put it on my Touch.

I have been trying out touchpal and it works a lot better, you should check that out.

Its a predictive text entry, either the first time you pressed that button you picked "s" or when using the button you choose "s" more often. Only way to change this is press the "as" button and pick "a" you will have to this this a few times for it to work. I had the same issue with hey and get... Or you could delete your saved word and start over picking "a" the first time you use the "as" button

How does one go about deleting saved words in the Touch's keyboard?
