Aliant (Bell) touch not using ev-do
 

Hello,
I have a bell htc touch with unlimited browser. My touch has decided not to use ev-do anymore. When I restart the phone, the Ev symbol appears at the top but as soon as I connect it changes to 1x. I can definitely notice a speed difference too. This is very strange because I was on Ev just last night with no probs but all day today it hasn't been working. I called tech support at aliant but they said there wasn't much they can do about it except write a ticket for it and see if the real techs can fix it. Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions? Could it have something to do with all the different browsers I have on my phone right now and their settings?(PIE, operamobile 9.45 beta, operamini, picsel... I am seeing which one I like best)
