here's the Titan 1.40 radio

http://www.fileshex.com/download.php...2e65614af44186

If you are new to flashing (radios) (roms) don't do it you may tear open a vortex that will kill us all ...... you don't want that on your conscience do you ?!

So...why a Titan radio? Aren't they running a 3.x radio right now?

The OS is up to 3.16.xxxxx

The radio always seems to be a lower version number since it doesn't go through as many builds.

I posted this radio because it is the most recommended radio that works with wm6.1 I've been experimenting with different radios and this one does work somewhat better with the 6.1 os

What have you noticed better about it? I've been using WM6.1 with the stock Sprint Radio firmware without any major issues.

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

is there any way u can test your reception strength?

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

How does this radio compare, revision-wise, to the radio in the 3.27 titan radio flash? (The one that most Titan users with GPS are using) (I KNOW this radio isn't enabling GPS for us Vogue users)

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

I would love to give this radio a try but at the expense of hard-resetting my device I really thing I will wait.

What differences are you guys noticing using this radio compared to the stock Vogue radio?

Speed differences?
Reception differences?(better/worse?)
Any issues with data or calls or text messages?

Thanks.

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

Ive used it for almost 2 days now and haven't really noticed a difference in reception. I would also like to point out that I live in a relatively low signal area (On the EVDO side at least) so I was hoping for at least a marginal improvement. At the same time, I haven't really had any major issues with this radio either

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

Have you tried the radio from the shipped rom (for the Vogue)? Easiest/best way would be to extract the ruu_signed.nbh from the official shipped rom, copy to sd card, and rename it to VOGUIMG.nbh (but make sure the sd card is 2gb or smaller, and formated with fat32). Reset the phone while holding down the power and the camera buttons, and flash away...

The file download is coming back with an internal server error when trying to download...

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

im sure you guys maybe aware of this...but with the new titan rom from sprint we get the ROM 3.35.651.2 and radio 3.35.04 (which btw, the signal is amazingly boosted in my area, philly, pa)...
i know someone with the older radio on her mogul's signal is lower than mines for whatever reason.

I tried that. It always says that the flash is successful then restarts with no effect. I took it to a repair center today and Ill be picking it up tomorrow before work. I hope they didn't swap me out for a "ferbie" model.

Re: Titan 1.40 Radio

For now on. When my rom update includes a radio. I think I'm going to get a flash drive and learn how to install windows on that just to flash my phone. Linux works well with flashing custom roms using Virtual Box but not Radio Updates. Too Risky!
