Sent SMS Alert Sound Removal??????
 

Everytime you send a sms an alert pops up saying "message sent" and an annoying sound....Is there a way to remove this sound??? i KNow you can remove notification sounds in the settigns but then you would have no alarm sounds ...I would like to keep my alarm sounds but just get rid of this annoying sound everytime I send a sms.

Try using the search button the top of the page. There is a registry edit out for it. If after searching you cannot truly find it, post back and I will find it and post you a link.

That will remove the confirmation entirely. I am not sure that is what the OP wants. He may want the sent confirmation, just without sound.

I haven't seen anything exactly what the OP wants. Wish that it existed but again, I haven't seen it. :(

Thanks for the replies, I did a search before and could not find it but I will search again....as for that zip file...is that just a reg hack or another piece of software that will get rid of the sms alert??

and its exactly the same question I have but there is no real solution......unless you use that cab file but that gets rid of the notification also.....I only want to remove the sound if possible..

When run it edits the registry to remove the notification.

Removing just the sound may not be possible

Navigate to Settings -> Personal Tab -> Sounds & Notifications -> Notifications Tab

Select the event Messaging: New text message
Check Play sound and choose this ringer from this link

And of course check the Display message on screen box.
