trying to play video off of CNN... unassociate TCPMP with WMV files?
 

I'm trying to play a video off of CNN and somehow TCPMP will try to play it, even tho it doesn't support WMV files. Nowhere in TCPMP is there an option to associate it with WMV files, but it still tries to play them.

Any ideas??? Is there a plugin for TCPMP to play WMV, or is there a way to tell it not to try to open this kind of file?

Try using Advanced configuration utility v1.1. It allows you to set all the file associations on your device. Works great for me.

There's actually a v2.0.2.0 out, but I'm not sure what the improvements are.

What version of TCPMP do you have? I can play WMV files, extract the WMV files from this thread into your TCPMP folder: http://www.4winmobile.com/forums/pho...decs-here.html

If you have Resco Explorer installed you can change default programs much the same way you do in windows.

Ok thanks... I'm downloading the files. Do I have to upgrade TCPMP to v.0.81 for these to work? I have v0.72 now.
