I have google maps installed on my sprint touch.
when I go to the my location option I always get this MSG: "you current location is temporarily unavailable"

Is GPS enabled on your phone? If so, did you choose the option to "Use GPS" before you chose the My Location option?

A buddy of mine was using the "My Location" feature on his iphone. It was so cool.

Interesting,
there is no hack around that?
I thought windows mobile phones supposed to be "open".
(my location doesn't go by GPS it goes by the cell phone towers)

Won't work. It's on XDA forums, and you can install it, but it won't load and cause an error and quit.

I have a mogul from Sprint with the GPS enabled and I get my location just fine. It won't work through sprint's network, but if you have a gps enabled phone it will give you your location with no issues.

Unfortunately, GPS has yet to be enabled on the Sprint Touch.

Actually it does work on some Sprint phones. It worked just fine on my A900.
